Age Matters
- You must be at least 18- 39 years old.
- Sperm viability can diminish with age, and we aim to provide viable options for future treatments.
Semen Analysis
- Your journey begins with an online application, followed by an in-person visit to our lab for a semen analysis. This step is crucial in assessing the quality of your sperm.
- Samples are processed and frozen to assess if sperm counts remain high enough to support future fertility treatments.
- Some donors are asked to do a second semen analysis if the results are low or borderline. These results do not mean that there is an issue with the donor’s fertility, we have high thresholds for our donated samples.
Medical and Family History
- Genetic factors play a significant role in anyone’s health. As sperm donors contribute half of the genetic material, we carefully review your personal and family medical history. This process helps prospective parents make informed decisions about their child’s future well-being.
- Our Genetic Counselors will review your medical history and also perform genetic carrier screening to look for genetic trends.
