How Much Do Sperm Donors Make In San Diego, California?

Tissue donors are often compensated for their time and effort made to donate. Sperm donation is no different and earning supplemental income can really help with extra expenses. We have seen donors use the extra income to go on vacation, pay for books, supplement an existing job, or save up for larger expenses.

Sperm donors at San Diego Sperm Bank are compensated $100 per donation. Active donors are required to visit weekly for at least six months. But donors have the option to donate up to 3 times per week.

How Much Can I Make Donating Sperm?

This can all start to add up, let’s break down 2022 to see how much a donor could have earned if they were active in the program.

Donating 1 time per week for six months:

Between January and June there were 26 weeks, making it possible to donate 26 times and earn $2600.

Donating 3 times per week for six months:

For the same length of time, it would be possible to make $7800 if there were 3 donations made per week.

Staying in the donor program for a year:

It makes sense that you wouldn’t be able to donate for the full 52 weeks of the year. But if you donated each week for 45 weeks, you would earn $4500 for once a week, and $13,500 for 3 times a week.

With planned and unplanned events throughout the year, we recognize that it may not be possible to donate every week. However, with flexible scheduling, you can adjust between other time commitments easily. Each visit takes about 20mins, making this a great way to earn extra income without having to sacrifice other commitments.

Other Ways To Earn Compensation

San Diego sperm donors can also earn bonuses for referring more donors to the program. Our referral program allows you to refer an unlimited number of people to the program. You are then sent a bonus for every person who enters the program.

Even if you do not enter the sperm donor program, we will still honor the referrals that you send! Let us know if you have any questions about the referral program and process.

Other Benefits Of Being A Donor Program

Flexible Scheduling

We accept appointments and walk-in visits; donation schedules are made by donors. We understand as vacations, holidays, and other time commitments come up throughout the year. Donors are welcome to take leaves from the program and return when they are available.

Health Benefits

Donors are receiving routine health screening including STI testing, which is great health information to have on hand. Additionally, donors have a genetic carrier screening test done which will give you valuable information about genetic conditions that may be passed down to future offspring or affect your health later in life.

Supporting Families Who Need You

There is a huge need for sperm donors. Your donations will be used to help a wide range of individuals and couples who cannot start or expand their families without you.
