Can I Donate Sperm During COVID-19?

So much has changed in 2020 it can be hard to keep up. But at San Diego Sperm Bank, we are trying to maintain consistency for our clients. So, for the foreseeable future, the following will schedule will apply.

For Sperm Donors

If you are currently a donor in our program, our San Diego lab will be open on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, and we are still making appointments for blood draws. All visits are by appointment only, so donors need to schedule their visits using our online system first.

Potential donors are free to visit on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Men interested in becoming a donor may apply online now and we will contact you when we begin accepting sperm donations again.

For SSB Clients

We will continue to ship orders to clinics and residences until further notice. To accommodate inconveniences caused by COVID-19, we are offering free storage at our premises for six months when you purchase two vials or more.

Another excellent option to consider at this time is at-home insemination. This safe and convenient method offers an added layer of safety by eliminating the need to travel to our clinic.
